Product overview
The Firenze tote is our benchmark piece and the model most frequently specified by boutique buyers. Each bag is cut from a single Tuscan full-grain hide so that grain and colour run continuously across the front, sides and base. The panels are skived by hand at the folds, then closed with a lock-stitch at 7 stitches per centimetre using bonded polyester thread rated to 8 kg breaking strain. The result is a bag that holds its shape unfilled, softens with wear rather than collapsing, and carries 8 kg of load without stress at the handle roots.

Construction & craftsmanship
- Single-hide cutting: front, back and gusset taken from one hide for continuous grain and colour match.
- Handles are folded, glued, hammered and edge-painted in four passes with heat-set Italian edge paint.
- Handle roots are riveted and box-stitched through a hidden reinforcement strip of vegetable-tanned leather.
- Base is fitted with five solid brass feet set into reinforced washers to protect the leather in daily use.
- Cotton-twill lining is bagged out and hand-slipped so no raw seam is visible inside the body.

- Each bag ships stuffed with acid-free tissue, inside a cotton flannel dust bag, in a printed two-piece rigid box. 10 pieces per export carton. Custom dust-bag and box printing available from 100 pieces.
- Lead time
- Stock colours: 15–20 working days. Custom colours or embossing: 30–35 working days after sample approval.
- Care
- Wipe with a dry soft cloth. Treat twice yearly with a neutral leather cream. Avoid prolonged direct sun and standing water; aniline leather will patinate, which is intended.

Custom branding (OEM / ODM)
